The existence of the frail schools is a serious problem in the development of regional education, and it is also the result off the imbalance of educational development. To abolish the frail schools and realize the balanced development of education is the necessary requirement to enhance national quality and adapt to the development of the times. Facing the modern society with quick development, the reform and management of the schools are undergoing great changes. The principal is the critical factor in catching the impulse of the times and realizing the transform of the frail schools. As the core of the frail school, how could the principal utilize his leading ability to carry out the improvement of the school? In order to have a deeper understanding of the deeds of the principal in the process of the transformation and provide the scientific instruction and direction to them by analyzing the related experience, this essay will take school F as the individual case to put forward the practical strategy on the improvement of the frail school through interview and detailed research on the leading ability of the principal during the transformational process of school F from frail school to high-class school, based on the extensive consult of the relative information.Chapter One is prelude, which includes the research background, purpose, significance, literature review and the research mentality and method.Chapter Two aims to have a deeper analysis on the interaction between the leading ability of the principal and the improvement of the frail school based on the definition of the related conception of the leading ability of the principal and the improvement of the frail school. Meanwhile, it also points out that the leading ability of the principal is the key factor and the improvement of the frail school is a very important platform for the leading ability of the principal to function and improve.Chapter Three mainly introduces the improved case of frail school. Based on the analysis of the main problems of school F, the school carries out a series of efficient measures to improve and achieved an obvious better result: perfect teaching facilities, high-qualified teaching staff, high teaching standard, creating a characteristic brand for the school.Chapter Four makes an analysis on the leading ability of the principal according to the successful transformation of school F: the principal constantly makes efforts to find out weakness from himself, renew educational idea, and realize the development of the school simultaneous with that of the times to attach importance to the education teaching, go deep into the study of project practice and grasp the dynamic of reform to integrate kinds of resources of the school and carry out a creative development, stimulate the autonomy and creativity to stick to the human-oriented principle and develop team spirit in the management of the school to set up general expectation of the school, create cultural brand, and enrich the cultural depth of the school to set up multiple social network to attract more powers for the ever-lasting development of the school.
