Research On Project Schedule Management Of Student Activity Based On Critical Chain Method

The activities of university students is the organized, planed andtargeted practice activities which take place in the higher education environment ofthe University. Project Schedule Management is one of the most important targets ofproject management about activities of university students. In this paper, the CriticalChain Method is used to construct the Schedule Management Model which is aimedat addressing the Project Schedule Management of activities of university students.And somel application example is presented.The project management about activities of university students are divided intofive main periods, which include start, plan, implementation, control, and ending. Andthe Project Schedule Management is mainly carried out in the start, plan,implementation, and control periods. Based on Critical Chain Method and five stepswhich include duration estimation, determination of the critical path, the balance ofresource conflict, identify key chain, setting the buffer, and so on, the ScheduleManagement Model about activities of university students as well as the ScheduleControl Model about buffer management, labor division mangement, project incentivemechanism in trinity are constructed. Meanwhile, the Schedule Management Methodabout activities of university students is constructed taking the buffer as the core, andit is used in the2010"Challenge Cup" business plan competition in one university inHebei. The model is validated and good result is received by case study.
