Teachers of politics of high school as the promoters and implementers of high school curriculum reform, their professional development level will directly affect the quality of the implementation of political course in Senior Middle School. The high school politics teachers’ professional development will become an important aspect in the new curriculum reform, at the same time it is also the needs for their self-restraint and self-development.This paper takes the high school politics new curriculum reform and professional development as the support. Firstly, the author made a research on the necessity of the high school politics teachers’ professional development and try to define the meaning of high school politics teacher professional development based on literature. Secondly, this paper discusses that politics teachers should perform a successful role transformation under new course reform concept to adapt to the situation, clearly pointed out that the high school politics teacher should become the guider of students’ subject learning, the explorer of advanced teaching methods, the original manufacturer and reflection of teaching design, the researchers in education and teaching. Thirdly, this paper analysis of the quality structure of high school politics teachers’ professional development, pointed out that the high school politics teachers should have rich professional knowledge, multivariate professional ability and positive professional morality. At last, the paper puts forward the strategy of promoting high school politics teachers’ professional development in three aspects that is the teachers’ professional development based on autonomously, teaching reflection and peer coaching in order to promote high school politics teachers’ professional development plays a certain role. |
