Since the 21 st century, the key competition of international is technology and the talented person, and education is the foundation of training talents. Since junior high school in Jiangsu province began to use the new curriculum from 2004, the teachers’ ideas, innovative teaching methods such as professional development problems are put forward the new requirements. But political lesson teachers as the main promoter of moral education in middle school also have certain disparity from the new requirements. Therefore, promote the construction of political lesson teachers in middle school will be of great importance in strengthening students’ ideological and political education work, promoting the political development of teachers, promoting the process of new curriculum reform and implementing the strategy of developing the country through science, technology and education and the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development. Under the new situation, how to strengthen the team construction of political lesson teachers in middle school, promote the professional development ability is an important issue that we are facing. This paper mainly consists of the following four parts:The first part: mainly analyze some related concept definition of the political lesson teachers’ professional development in middle school and analyze the necessary of promoting the professional development of political lesson teachers in middle school from the three aspects of promoting the new curriculum reform, the actual effect of ideological and political education in the junior middle school and the professional ability of independent development of political lesson teachers in high schools.The second part: the social investigation method, the empirical analysis of some representative a gleam of politics lesson teachers in middle school, students and school administrators to interview and questionnaire survey, according to the result of interview, investigation, contrast to analyze the current situation of political lesson teachers’ professional development in middle school, points out existing problems, and through the chart data for restraints on the possibility of middle school political teachers’ professional development is analyzed.The third part: according to the above, this paper puts forward the concrete measures to promote the development of middle school political teachers. Mainly from these three aspects, the competent department of education, schools and teachers themselves. The first is advancing the education departments in-depth reform, including: optimizing the political teacher exchange rotating mechanism, improve the teachers’ welfare, incentive mechanism, perfect training system and improve the moral education work and the status of middle school ideological and political discipline. The second is to improve school management evaluation mechanism, including: optimizing the structure of political teachers, perfect the moral education work motivation, evaluation mechanism, promote the construction of campus culture, create a harmonious campus atmosphere, and combined with the United States, Britain and other countries of school-based training experience perfect school-based training mode. The third is to strengthen political teachers’ self development, including: enhance the consciousness of the political teachers’ self education, set up firm ideal and faith, to promote the teaching practice, promote professionalism and self-reflection, strengthen the ethics. So as to improve the middle school political teachers’ comprehensive quality, take the path of the development of professionalization and specialization.
