| The new round of curriculum reform focuses more on the teaching and learning of biological concepts. Biological concepts are abstract forms of thinking reflecting the nature of the object so that it’s difficult to comprehend. Comics have the characteristics of being visualized and funny and could be replaced easily. Comic teaching practices focus on optimizing learners’ perception of biological concepts by using comics as vehicle to comprehend and master biological concepts.This study focus on how to incorporate comic into teaching practices in middle schools, aiming to create a comfortable and fun environment for students so that they are able to master relevant biological concepts. This study shows that by employing comic teaching as a platform, teachers are able to guide students to foster students’interests and enhance the mastery of biological concepts. On the basis of the experimental research, this paper summarizes the effective strategies of comic teaching of biological concepts. |
