As a child’s reading material, the wordless picture books play a great role in promoting the telling-story ability of young children. Currently, there is little research in our motherland and Taiwan that through guiding the wordless picture books to promote children’s ability to talk. Therefore, in this study, by using the wordless picture books as a tool, the author tried to guide the children to share reading in the collective environment, and to study the impacts on the telling-story ability to the middle-class preschoolers.The study chooses two middle classes in one Tianjin public kindergarten, one class is the experimental group, and the other class is the control group. A week before intervention, we started the pre-test between the experimental group and control group, and then, the experiment of experimental group was carried out, and it lasted for6weeks, twice experiments a week,25minutes were used every time to share the wordless picture books. After the sharing reading of wordless picture books, the study has found that the telling-story ability of experimental group was superior to the control group obviously.Finally, it comes to the following conclusion:Using the wordless picture book as a shared reading material can improve the telling-story ability of the middle class children effectively.According to the results of this study, the study puts forward the following suggestions:1. The understanding the wordless picture books should be enhanced in colleges and universities, children’s parents and kindergarten teachers.2. When organizing wordless picture books reading activities, the following points should be paid attention to:firstly, the selection of the picture books should comply with the children’s age, the story should be started in a style which the children interested in; secondly, in the teaching time, teachers should make sure every child can see the pictures clearly; thirdly, teachers had better organize some extension activities at the end of the story.3. Share wordless picture book reading can be presented in various forms.
