Research On Sports Cultural Construction Of Communities In Wuxi City

Community sports cultural construction is an important part of contemporarymunicipal modernization, and also a necessary factor for the economic development of acity as well. Community sports culture in a city includes spiritual factors, material factors,regulations, social relations and organizations in a community. This article conducts astudy on sports cultural construction of communities in Wuxi city, esp. on its presentsituation, existing problems and strategies for development by using methods of literaturematerial and expert interview etc. Based on the present situation of community residents’health service, For example, community residents cannot take part in sports actively.Community sports consciousness is lacking. Community sports resources are not exploitedand used fully. The education of community sports is weakened. We cannot strike abalance between public welfare sports and paid sports. The publicity of sports rules is notenough. Sports cultural organizations in communities are not managed and conducted well.Because of the problems mentioned-above, the author here proposes relevant strategies forcommunity sports cultural construction to speed up the development of Wuxi communitysports culture in a healthy way and try to make it adapted to the development of Wuxi’seconomy and culture.
