Campus are special places which contain talent concentration as well as intensiveknowledge. The culture of college always be closely associated with contemporary society,which usually give exquisite attention to the social mainstream and reflect it at the same time.The campus culture is a significant part of social culture, conformiong to the needs ofphysical and mental development of young people. It can also reflect the growth of youngstudents demands and has a rich and colorful forms, which is loved by college students andhas impacts on students in the subject to mold the thoughts and feelings, moral sentiments,behavior and exercise, their ideas, values, mental states and moral standards subtle. As aninvisible class, the campus culture is a specific culture atmosphere made by all collegemembers. It also became an important way to carry out the ideological and political educationwork. All in all, It has significant and far-reaching significance to strengthen the positiveeducation function of campus culture and put campus culture into full play to the ideologicaland political education.《The views of the Ministry of Education, the Communist Youth League CentralCommittee on strengthening and improving the construction of Campus Culture,》said:"Campus Culture is an important part of an advanced socialist culture. Strengthening theconstruction of campus culture is of great significance for promoting higher education reformand development, strengthening and improving ideological and political education, andcomprehensively improving the overall quality of students." In this case, the article exploredand discussed the role of ideological and political education of the campus culture as well ashow to play the role to strengthen the construction of campus culture and the ideological andpolitical education as a starting point.This thesis is divided into four parts.In the first part, it shows the main definition of college campus culture, connotation,form of constitution, the main characteristics and the correlative concept of a systematicexplaination, respectively. the definition and connotation of the concept of culture, campusculture, college campus culture are described. And the induction of four forms inthe university campus culture——material culture, institutional culture, behavior, culture and spiritual culture are analyzed. It will use its objective existence of material and spiritualatmosphere to let the members agree with the ideological concept, value orientation,psychological structure, behavior standard and social reality of identity. In this case, it canrealize the shape and cultivate of he human spirit, thought and personality, showing theessence and the highest value in promoting the all-round development of human beings.College campus culture not only have the common characteristics of social culture, also hasthe inheritance and the frontier and relative independence and experimental, informative andinnovative, high YaXing with unique features such as dominant.The second part is the breakthrough point of the thesis. Focusing on the analysis of therole that campus culture of colleges and universities played in the ideological and politicaleducation work. Considering that the campus culture is the important carrier of ideologicaland political education. It fully reflects the essence and characteristics of ideological andpolitical education function and content. By the way, it is in accordance with the basicrequirements of ideological and political education carrier. Good campus culture contribute tothe all-round development of college students and college talents training target to implementin an all-round way. And the ideological and political education function of campus culturehas divided into four aspects: value orientation, constraint specification, environmentinfluence and aesthetic functions.The third part puts forward problems and gives reason analysis, combined with currentstatus of domestic college campus culture construction, and summarizing the function ofcampus culture in colleges and universities ideological and political education existencequestion and the insufficiency from four aspects. Some of the causes of these problems arefrom the influence of unfavorable factors in social environment: The negative impact ofeconomic globalization, the negative effect of market economy, popularization of highereducation of adverse impact and challenge brought by the cultural information. Some of thecauses of these problems are from the deficiency of the construction of college campusculture itself: Relative lag of construction of spiritual culture. The system culture constructionefficiency is low. The construction of campus culture carrier imbalance. And the lack ofaesthetic culture environment construction design.Part four puts forward the countermeasures to solve the problem. carring on the positive thinking and put forward countermeasures on how to solve these problems effectively,strengthen the ideological and political education function of college campus culture.Considering that you must adhere to the guiding ideology of science, adhere to the"people-oriented" at the core of educational philosophy to give full play to the ideologicaland political education function of college campus culture, what is more, we should continueto carry forward Chinese traditional culture and the right attitude towards foreign culture,strictly abide by integrity, objectivity and the guiding principle of direction and time. And weput forward response for the problems of the third part. Firstly, we need to pay attention tocultivating our own school spirit, and strengthen the spiritual culture of guiding role. Secondly,we need to pay attention to the scientific and feasibility of construction of school system aswell as improve the performance specifications of system culture. Thirdly, we should payattention to the comprehensive carrier of campus culture construction and coordination, tomake the educational environment better. Last but not least, we should lay emphasis on theaesthetic design and the harmony of campus cultural environment to develop the aestheticeducation function effectively.
