The borderless career is a new career mode, in the era of borderless career, lifelong psychological contract employee loyalty in exchange for job security are gradually being replaced with job performance in exchange for sustainable employability psychological contract. Therefore, improving the employability is crucial. With the rapid development of the knowledge economy, college students are the core competitiveness of enterprises, so in the absence of boundaries career background explore the relationship between the employability and job performance has strong practical significance. This study around the relationship of college employability and job performance in borderless career, with the use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, combining the first use of an open questionnaire survey, the survey of employers personnel, university teachers and university graduation. Through the open questionnaire distribution, recovery and statistics to get seven dimensions of employment ability:cognitive learning, teamwork, environmental adaptability, self-management skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills and self-awareness. Then through a lot of relevant literature and reference preparation of employability and job performance, we prepared a employability and job performance questionnaire issued and recovered data.. Then, using quantitative analysis methods, use Spss21software to questionnaire data for scientific analysis, descriptive statistical analysis of the data, at the same time to reliability and validity testing, independent samples T-test, correlation and regression analysis. Final the results showed that:(1) students of different genders employability was not significant difference, but the average employability of boys slightly higher than girls;(2) job performance was not significantly different in students of different genders, but the boys either get performance or sustained performance are slightly higher than the mean girls, said the boys had better ability to get to work and maintain the work;(3) in the borderless career background, employability and job performance (including access to performance and sustained performance) was significantly positive correlation. Finally, this paper presents how to improve students’ employment and employment performance and suggestions from the government, universities, students themselves and employers personnel angles. This study help to further enrich borderless relevant employability and employment of college students between the lower performance career, as well as improve the employability of students, improve performance and provide scientific basis for employment.
