Study On The Life Spatial Pattern Of Contemporary Natural Village In Hefei

Under the background of building the Socialist New Countryside and Beautiful RuralConstruction, this paper investigates people’s living activities, living space of naturalvillages and the relationship between them, making use of scientific research methodssuch as fact-finding and chart analysis, focused on the living space of Rural Hefeinatural villages which is closely related to its people, and a concept called Living SpacePattern is put forward.This paper is divided into three parts. The knowledge background, research purposeand its significance are described in the first part which is also the first chapter, in whichthe objects of study and research methods are stated. The second chapter is the secondpart in which the object of study is scoped and the concept of living activities, livingspace and living space pattern are explained. The third part is the core of this paper,including Chapter Three, Chapter Four and Chapter Five. Respectively, thecharacteristics of private space, courtyard space and village public space and livingactivities that take place in them are investigated and characteristics of living space, therelationship between people’s living activities and their living space are described withpictures, drawings and tables, etc. Finally the spatial layout of private space, courtyardspace and village public space are expounded separately and relevant living spacepatterns are also proposed.This paper studies the living space patterns in natural villages, hoping to makeplanning guidance for building the Socialist New Countryside in China, and providesvaluable advice for rural renewal of the Beautiful Rural Construction.
