As an disciplinary form, the interdisciplinary course integrates the knowledge of multidisciplinary field to solve the world, even a global problem. it is the trend of the overall development of the discipline. Since the21st century, the integration between disciplines has become the time characteristics of the scientific development and knowledge creation. Cultivating high-level talents and promoting the development of interdisciplinary fields has become a strategic goal of the higher education in the world. As the top level of China’s higher education, graduates should become the main force for the development of interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary education. With the emergence of various forms of interdisciplinary graduate education, it’s necessary to establish a compatible educational modal. The essay focuses on the educational model of interdisciplinary graduate students in research-oriented university.It can be divided into the following parts.The first part is the introduction. It clarifies why the question is put forward and its significance, analyzes and sort out the interdisciplinary research and its development at home and abroad.It also Introduces the research methods that will be used, the expected research results and technical route.The second part is the theoretical research about the interdisciplinary graduate students education. It defines the concepts of discipline, interdisciplinary, the classification of interdisciplinary, the relationships between interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary and other related concepts. It describes internal and external conditions for interdisciplinary graduate students education. It also untangle the three existing mainstream models of present interdisciplinary graduate students education at home and abroad and analyzes the elements of the training model.The third part is the practical study of the interdisciplinary graduate students education. It analyzes the educational model of quantitative biology graduate students in Peking University, graduate students education in Interdisciplinary experimental area of top and innovative personnel training in Wuhan University and the educational model of interdisciplinary graduate students in Dalian University of Technology in four dimensions: training goals, entry forms, educational manner, quality evaluation. And it also analyzes the current educational model of interdisciplinary graduate students in China. The fourth part is the model construction of interdisciplinary graduate students education in research-oriented Universities. It analyzes the basis of model construction of interdisciplinary graduate students education and constructs an educational model of interdisciplinary graduate students preliminarily and then puts forward the security conditions for the educational model of interdisciplinary graduate students.
