Objectives:The purpose of this study is the status of the maximal oxygen uptake and the amount ofdaily physical activities of college students which aims to understand and explore thecorrelation between daily physical activity and maximal oxygen uptake, also,to analyse theimpact of daily activities on the maximum amount of oxygen uptake, heart and lungs forcollege students to provide a scientific basis for the healthy development of functionalexercise. Methods:In this study, the principle of voluntary recruitment Shanghai Institute of PhysicalEducation for59experimental subjects, of whom31are male college students,28femalestudents, and to identify research object’s(age, height, and weight of the target people) age, height, weight. Study of continuous wear GT3X accelerometer seven days, and screened byActiLife5.5.5software effective amount of daily physical activity. Maximal oxygen uptakeusing incremental load exercise treadmill test method directly, and use Cosmed K4b2portable gas analyzer subjects maximal oxygen uptake, measured using the maximum heartrate Polar table object of study. Use SPSS19.0correlation analysis, Logistic regressionanalysis, ANOVA.The results:The total acquisition49subjects (which26male,23female) data, the age is20.65±1.07years old, height16.785±8.90cm and weight to60.54±11.89kg, BMI is21.33±2.68kg/m2, college students sitting time is up62.9±168.13min/d, LPA is182.45±51.34min/d, MPA for68.03±31.41min/d, VPA for1.35±2.60min/d, MVPA for69.38±32.73min/d and total physical activity for251.84±68.327min/d, the measured maximumperturbation oxygen absolute value of2.46±0.68L/min and research object of maximaloxygen uptake relative value for40.56±7.11ml/min/kg, maximum heart rate for189.95±11.56b/min. LPA and maximal oxygen uptake and the absolute value of the correlationcoefficient for the regression; MPA and maximal oxygen uptake and the absolute value of thecorrelation coefficient is0.424; VPA and maximal oxygen uptake and the absolute value ofthe correlation coefficient is0.488; MVPA and maximal oxygen uptake and the absolutevalue of the correlation coefficient is0.445; correlation coefficient and VO2max of theabsolute value of total physical activity is0.182. The correlation coefficient of the relativevalue of LPA and maximal oxygen uptake is0.30; MPA and the maximum oxygen uptakerelative values of the correlation coefficient is0.334; the relative value of VPA and VO2maxcorrelation coefficient is0.324; correlation coefficient of the relative value of MVPA andmaximal oxygen uptake is0.346; the correlation coefficient of the relative value of totalphysical activity and VO2max is0.143. The Logistic regression analysis only got the increaseof the physical activity time, and the health of the object was studied. ANOVA showed thatthe strength of the maximum oxygen uptake and absolute value has a significant main effect;high strength the maximum oxygen uptake and absolute value, relative value have significantmain effect; high strength, the maximum oxygen uptake and absolute value has a significantmain effect; total physical activity of VO2max vast of value and relative value havesignificant main effect. Conclusions:1: Between the intensity of daily physical activity of high intensity and maximumoxygen uptake significantly correlated, there is no clear correlation ship between amount ofdaily physical activity of low intensity and maximal oxygen uptake.2: the health of college students is not ideal; they need more exercise to enhancephysical health.3: the lack of daily physical activity in female college students, do not satisfied with theWHO recommended amount of physical activity, especially the amount of daily physicalactivity, and high strength.4: The longer the intensity of physical activity, the more healthy the students’ health.
