In the background of the reform of new Chinese language course, effective teaching hasbecome the most talkative topic by the public. In the process of teaching Chinese language,class questioning is an important part of class teaching, it is also an important mean ofachieving the goal of class teaching target. But in the actual teaching process, there are manyinefficient or ineffective situations in question-asking, at the same times, many Chineselanguage teachers have a lot of confusion to it. How to get out of this predicament has becomea serious issue faced by Chinese educational workers. This paper tries to research on effectivequestioning in the class teaching of vocational schools, providing some reference to theprinciples and strategies for Chinese language teachers, improving their ability to efficientlymanage class and fully improving class efficiency.This paper consists of three parts. The first part is the introduction, it points out thepurpose and significance of this topic through analysis of domestic and foreign research statusof effectiveness of questioning. The second part is composed of four chapters, the first chapterdefines the important concepts of effective questioning in Chinese class through analyzingbasic theory of the question of effective in Chinese class. In the second chapter, the paperanalyses the current situation of secondary language class questioning through specificquestionnaires and finds out the existing problems in the language class of questioning, suchas teachers’ strong randomness in questioning, non sufficient in pre-class preparation, moreclosed questions rather than open ones, narrow participation in students, non clear in teachers’questions-describing, incorrect in teachers’ evaluation to students, and analyzes the existingproblems from students, teachers and their relationship. In the third chapter, it is mainlyseeking the strategy of effective questioning in the Chinese class of secondary vocationalschool: before class, the teachers should plan the questions carefully when preparing to ensurethe high quality questioning; in class, the teacher should grasp the skills of questioning tomake questioning successfully; after class, teachers ought to set questions to consolidate theeffect of the questioning. In the forth chapter, the author raises some problems that should bepaid attention to in the class: stimulate students’ study interesting; raise targeting questions;variety ways of questioning; questions should be raised creatively to all the students; timely encourage students when they answer questions. The third part is the conclusion.Based on deep research on domestic and foreign theory literatures, this paper aims tofind out the existing problems of Chinese language class questioning in the secondaryvocational school through the observation of Chinese language class and questionnaire to theteachers and students and explore effective questioning strategy and method in Chineselanguage class questioning in the secondary vocational school from the whole teachingprocess, such as pre-class preparation and teaching design, focus on questioning technique inclass and creating questioning situations to review the questioning effects by combining detailquestioning case.
