With the development of reform and opening up,with China’s rapideconomic advance and soaring GDP, China’s achievements become the world’ssecond largest economy, but on the development of China’s population structure,we have now entered the era of aging, old before getting rich situation isparticularly prominent. Family planning policy is a basic policy of our country,singleton female become a special product of China’s policy under theadministration. When parents lose their only child, spiritual care, pensionproblems have cropped up. Through the existing studies and found that socialwork intervention on the loss of singleton female for the elderly is basically ablank.By the Family Service and Community Development Centre where the lossof singleton female for the elderly clients,the author practice to carry outmicro-level social work intervention research.In this study, the author starts from the Strengths Perspective Theory and findsthe advantages of the service object, and through the Activity Theory and SocialSupport Theory to expand the scope of establishing a social support systems, andultimately help clients integrate into society. Through social casework service,from the preparation of intervention, direct services, content presentationconcluded three social workers to assess social work intervention lost singletonfemale of the elderly, and finally make recommendations accordingly to providesome practical methods for the loss of singleton female for the elderly caseworkintervention.Combined with casework and group work, the author uses them in specificsocial work. Though using participant observation, case interview method, theauthor like to enhance the service object’s ability, to reconstruct family supportnetworks and social support network and to carry out the object multiple services.
