Review lesson should not only help students review what have been learned and learn something new, but it should also arrange and simplify the knowledge by forming a network in students’ mind. However, for a long time, the review lessons didn’t function to the full. The inefficiency and unsatisfied results have remained a practical problem as well as an old problem, which requires us to solve urgently. The study took Junior English as an example and aimed to investigate the design and implement of English review learning plan. The results are as follows:To begin with, the study gave a definition of review learning plan. Besides, three elements about review learning plan were discussed:the appropriate goals and structures or types of learning plan based on students’level, well-designed sections for practice, summary and skills which allowed students’ autonomous reflection. In addition, teacher designed English review learning plans and put them into practice. Finally, the significance of this study is to provide some reflections and suggestions for the latter research.
