The new curriculum reform stresses to respect students’ individual differences, respect for the diversity of students, adopt corresponding education and evaluation method, and promote the development of each student. SportSchool not only cultivates students’sport skills, but also paves the way to their development and employment. At present, the GeneralAdministrationofSportofChina put forward higher request to the athletes’ cultural level. Therefore, exploring the effective teaching method, under the condition of class teaching system, we take effective measures, adopt corresponding teaching methods according to the significant difference of students so as to make students be qualified sports talents, which is an issue the sport school focused on. The literacy classes in sport school are relatively fewer than middle schools and the students’ cultural level is uneven. The traditional teaching method didn’t take the students’ differences into consideration. How to make every student acquire different levels of development in the "zone of proximal development" is a problem for the computer teacher in our school to solve.The stratified progressive teaching methodmeans teachers fully take the objective existence of class students individual difference into consideration; through the stratified method, on the base of individual differences, make a difference between their teaching design and teaching practice; make all the students move to a higher level so as to make every child get the best development. Stratified progressive teaching method is a teaching method which is appropriate to the learning initiative of multi-grade students, aiming at improving students one by one.From the reality of sport school’s computer course, the paper explore the practice and research of stratified progressive teaching method in class; take "Dreamweaver webpage making" for example, classify the students, teaching target, teaching content, practice and evaluation; respect for the individual difference of students; satisfy different students’learning needs; adopt active measures; stimulate their learning interest; cultivate students’ ability to analyze and solve problems; make every student can get full development.Through experiments, the combination of questionnaire investigation and interview, the research analyzed the implementation method and effect of stratified progressive teaching method in sports school’s computer course.Through practice and theoretical analysis, the paper proves that:for sport school, the stratified progressive teaching method solves the problem of defects of current computer course teaching, provides professional skill teaching an operational mode, and promotes the development of quality-oriented education. For students, it is good for arousing students’ intrinsic motivation, promotes individual development; develop their self-study ability, cooperation ability and team spirit; form their comprehensive vocational ability.
