The higher education quality is increasingly arousing common concern and wide attention with rapid development of higher education. Due to the various kinds of students with different backgrounds, learning ability, study ways and learning styles, the traditional teaching model has brought out many negative effects such as the low classroom teaching efficiency, and imposed uniformity on all scholars neglectful of specific situation defined as’One-size-fits-all teaching’. The stratified teaching has been carried out by many colleges and universities on account of its various advantages such as the better way to optimize the class teaching system, benefits to students’ personalized development and improvement for the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching. However, people currently mainly focused on how to develop the stratified teaching in the classroom teaching according to the students’ intelligence factors. The low-efficiency stratification and low execution is a result of the limited time and space. The favorable aspects of the stratified teaching have a very long distance from our expectations.This study attempts to induce popularization-widespread, interactivity-strong and functionality-diverse WeChat and WeChat Public Platform into stratified teaching. Relying on the advantages education of WeChat Public Platform, we can refactor the stratified teaching mode, which can break the limitation of time and space effectively and make every effort to solve the basic teaching problem existed in the stratified teaching on the basis of the acquainted connotation of stratified teaching.Firstly, we analyses the existing problems in the stratified teaching combining with the research on status quo of stratified teaching at home and abroad on the basis of literature research. More generally, the teaching advantages integrated with the functions and features of WeChat Public Platforms in the stratified teaching are analyzed and researched.Secondly, the feasibility of WeChat Public Platform in the stratified teaching application is analyzed through questionnaire based on a comprehensive understanding of the connotation stratified teaching. Furthermore, the stratified teaching design principles of the WeChat Public Platform are discussed with the sufficient consideration of intelligence factors and non-intelligence factors influencing students’ learning from the four perspectives of the teaching goal, teaching content, teaching activities and teaching evaluation. Considering the aforementioned schedule, we construct the stratified teaching mode based on WeChat Public Platform. And the pattern goes throughout pre-class, in-class, after-class breaking the limitation of time and space, achieving the effective integration of traditional classroom and WeChat learning.Finally, in order to verify the effectiveness of the stratified teaching model based on WeChat Public Platform, we apply the model to the’University of the Computer Basic Course’. Step One:with developed interface provided by WeChat Public Platform, I use PHP Language to develop WeChat Public Platform for the second time, I establish a WeChat learning platform composed of resources-sharing, information-pushing, cooperating, communicating, intelligent query and learning evaluation. Step Two:we systematically design the schemes in regard to the teaching goal, teaching content, teaching activities and teaching evaluation utilizing stratified teaching model before the semester and in the process of teaching in view of the learning situation analysis and the differences between the students. Step Three:we embed the applications of the platform into the fifth chapter ’computer network’ and further consummate and verify the practical application of stratified teaching through the practice and the students’ feedback.The fact that the WeChat public platform is introduced in the stratified teaching is a new start and an attempt. Our researches show that applying WeChat Public Platform to stratified teaching can effectively solve problems of single judgment for hierarchical structure and serious polarization in the stratified teaching model. Considering these, it will do teach students in accordance of their aptitude in the real sense and mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of student learning, promoting the growth of all students in Zone of Proximal Development.
