The educational practice of Physical Education is an important work in Normal University. It is also the main characteristics and important aspects of teaching. The educational practice is an important practice of training qualified physical education teachers, carrying out vocational training for teachers, testing the direction and the effect of teaching. It is also an important form for students to put the theories into practice. The educational practice plays important role for the students who will become teachers in the future in the aspects of enhancing the idea and awareness the role and successfully finishing their education.1. The significance of the research: In recent years, people have a common sense that the college students of physical education have less comprehensive ability, which behind the grass-roots level in schools and development of the society. The students just have the simple ways and the limited time for educational practice in the college. Besides, there are many qualitative assessments for them. So they have some problems when they find the jobs.2. The value of the research: Building a model of progressive educational practice is a way to extend the time of the practice and to divide the different contents at various stages. The assessment of students'educational practice is made by certain evaluation criteria. And the students can improve their teaching ability by finding the problems and solve them at once in the teaching process. According to the current teaching capacity of physical education, it is good for the Normal University improving themselves to extend the time and establish the evaluation criteria of educational practice. It is also good for students to improve their own self-cultivation. And they can have more opportunities for training. So the students can improve themselves gradually in the process of learning and practice and enhance their teaching ability at the same time.This thesis studies the current situation of both the educational practice of the students in Department of P.E. of Jining Normal College, Jining city, Inner Mongolia and the development of P.E teachers of primary and secondary school. It studies a model of progressive educational practice by showing documents, giving examples, doing interviews, making surveys and so on. And it makes following conclusion:â‘ .It has proved that it is feasible to carry out a model of progressive educational practice in Jining Normal College. Because it is consistent with the need of social development, and has a positive role in promoting the students'teaching ability.â‘¡.A model of progressive educational practice is good for students to extend the time of their educational practice, and improve their teaching ability gradually. â‘¢.The evaluation criteria of a model of progressive educational practice can help students to improve the capacity of teaching ability.3. The lack and prospects of the experiments: There are still some problems in the process of a model of progressive educational practice, such as how to make full use of the training time, the content of the practice, the number of students who take part in the practice. It should be improved in the process of a model of progressive educational practice in the future. This thesis studies for two-year students. It is also good for three-year and four-year students when they take part in educational practice.
