Along with the social change, earth-shaking changes have occurred in the political, economic, social, cultural and other fields of our Country’s villages and urban and rural dual structure have been more and more significant, which, to a certain extent, affects the social mind of the members, especially the rural youth.Rural students accounts for more than half of all in Chinese colleges, their mental health status affects the whole undergraduate group, and is directly related to the quality of the talents in our country. Therefore, in order to strengthen psychological health education among college students, we must focus on the present characteristics and severity status of ungraduates’ mental problems. In this paper, I used the SPSS soft to analyze the mental health survey statistics of freshman of last9years in F university, with descriptive, variance analysis. Combined with the interview data, the writer sums up the different characteristics between rural and urban students, prominent dimension and the influence factors of rural students’psychological problems. Based on the method of social work, the writer discussed the mental health intervention strategies to rural college students with ecological system mode. That is practical significant to improve college students’ mental health education work in our country.
