Nowadays,it is a general trend for China to enter an aging society and even a deep aging society.By the end of 2018,the elderly population over 60 years old in China has reached 250 million,accounting for 17.9% of the total population.By 2025,the elderly population over 60 years old in China will be at least 300 million.Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has developed rapidly and leaped into the second largest economy in the world,and the pace of industrialization and urbanization has been accelerating.In this context,the number of population transferred to cities is increasing,and the scale of urban population is expanding.Among them,the elderly who leave their original residence to live in cities where their children live,that is,the elderly who move with them,have become an incompatible part of the urban population.An important component of neglect.With the acceleration of urban social mobility,the proportion of this group will become larger and larger.The satisfaction of their interests and needs in urban life has become a problem that can not be ignored.For a long time,the state of mental health has not attracted excessive attention from scholars at home and abroad.In fact,with the rapid development of China's economy,the improvement of material life has been widely recognized by the public,but spiritual.Needs are equally important,which is also an unavoidable issue for future social development.This paper adopts the form of questionnaires and structured interviews,on the basis of integrating the survey data,analyses many factors affecting the mental health of the elderly migrants,finds out the existing problems on the basis of understanding the current situation of the mental health of the elderly migrants,and further explores the intrinsic biological factors and external social support factors affecting their mental health.Finally,we use the professional methods of social work to start with three working methods: case work,group work and community work,and study the strategies of social work intervention in the mental health of the elderly migrants from the perspective of social support.Through the research,it is found that the mental health problem of the elderly migrants is an aggregate of comprehensive factors,which is closely related to their own personality,educational level and other factors.It is also affected by the support level of the family,neighborhood,community and government of the elderly.To solve this problem properly,we must use the advantages of social work specialty to strengthen the life of the elderly migrants.Contact,constantly improve the social security system,earnestly proceed from the actual livingconditions of the elderly migrants,solve their mental health problems,make them more sense of belonging and trust in the city,and then promote their interpersonal communication and the creation of a harmonious community environment,so as to maintain their physical and mental health.In addition,we should not neglect the interests of minority groups,pay attention to the psychological needs of the elderly,and constantly encourage the elderly to adjust their mentality and actively integrate into the new environment.At the same time,children should also strengthen the mental care of the elderly and pay attention to their mental health problems.At the same time,the study of mental health of the elderly migrants will help broaden the perspective of social work research,improve the theoretical system of social work for the elderly,and provide reference suggestions for the development of scientific theory of social work in China.
