| Taekwondo is an event which has domestic and international promotion and popularization of higher extent in the Olympic Games, its special value has been generally recognized by the people. I have been in the army for promotion and popularization of Taekwondo movement for the people’s liberation army armored force engineering institute since1999, through consulting data, doing research on military Taekwondo movement is less. How to carry out the popularization of tae kwon do movement in military colleges and universities? what value Taekwondo has which is worth us to pay attention to and do research in the aspect of improving the military fighting capacity to provide theoretical and practical guidance for the majority of military basic education administrators and military instructor of taekwondo.In this paper, we mainly adopts expert interview method, questionnaire survey method, literature method, observation method, mathematical statistics and other methods of tae kwon do movement to do research on the promotion of troop strength in our colleges and universities’current development and countermeasures. Through the investigation, we get the following conclusions:1. Tae kwon do movement in cadets with high popularity, which is different in the form of the military academies of the sport, mainly having elective courses, school clubs, the school representative team, and interest groups in four forms.2. In the survey of46Chinese military colleges and universities in our country, there are11colleges and universities have carried out the tae kwon do movement and22colleges and universities intend to do it, the survival problem of tae kwon do movement in military colleges has been resolved. There are13colleges have no intention to carry out it, the main reason is that there is no undergraduate education, it has more positions education for colleges and universities.3. Tae kwon do movement has special significance in the army grapnel training. The elements of Taekwondo have been integrated into the military academy grapnel training content, having enriched the military academy grapnel training content. At the same time, compared with the similar grapnel project the safety coefficient of tae kwon do movement is higher.4. Tae kwon do movement has a positive role to the promotion of battle effectiveness. and it also plays a positive role in strengthening the officers and soldiers’physical quality, promoting their military skill mastery, enhancing their psychological adjustment ability, cultivating their indomitable fighting spirit, enhancing their operational capability, enlivening their amateur cultural life and promoting.suggestions:1. A motion military college Taekwondo Development Cooperation center. Guidance to carry out the work of overall PLA college taekwondo of Taekwondo, continue to strengthen the academic research on improving the combat effectiveness of the army.2. To establish the first demonstration hall road. To standardize venues, unify teaching content and standard, emphasize the training of students’comprehensive quality, and carry out courses in accordance with the Chinese characteristics of taekwondo.3. Take preparations for the military academy’s first taekwondo competitions. Have a hot activities interchange through the brand competition and strengthen the work of popularization in the project to form a taekwondo competition culture with the characteristic of our military.4. Giving full play to the advantages of talents, paying attention to the introduction and training of the teachers, and strengthening the construction of professional faculty team, optimizing organization way, forming a standardized, systematic electricity teaching system, and improving the teaching quality in practice. |
