Taekwondo is a young sports event rich in oriental cultural elements and one of the few oriental events in the Olympic system.Although it has only been more than half a century since its establishment and development,it has been well popularized and applied worldwide with its unique charm and has won the attention and favor of hundreds of millions of people. As an important part of competitive sports, athletes, coaches and referees' development level directly restricts the development of competitive sports. This study focuses on athletes, coaches and referees when discussing the impact of the crowd of athletes participating in taekwondo on the development of the project.By using the methods of literature review, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and logical analysis, this paper analyzes the current situation of China's competitive taekwondo development from the perspective of the participants, and draws the following research conclusions: the proportion of athletes in China's elite taekwondo teams is higher than that of high-level athletes. The development of male and female athletes in taekwondo is balanced and their age structure is reasonable. The development gap between competitive taekwondo regions is gradually narrowing. The number of reserve personnel has steadily increased; The number of referees has increased year by year, and the proportion of high-ranking referees has increased. At the same time, there are some problems to be solved in the development of competitive taekwondo in our country. The proportion of taekwondo athletes receiving higher education in our country is low,and the proportion of minority athletes is low.The number of athletes of different grades shows a downward trend.Taekwondo project reserve personnel source unit is single; There is a serious imbalance in the structure of coaches.On-the-job full-time coaches are unevenly distributed in different regions, and the ratio of athletes to full-time coaches varies greatly in different provinces. The proportion of women in athletic taekwondo referees is much lower than that of men.Referees need to strengthen their adaptation to new rules and new protective equipment. In view of the above problems, the following Suggestions are put forward: a reasonable proportion of male and female athletes;Open more competitions, increase regional, domestic and foreign exchange learning;Strengthening training and learning, introducing comprehensive assessment mechanism;Increasing the proportion of ethnic minority athletes and female athletes;Select excellent reserve talents for competitive taekwondo by taking advantage of mass taekwondo; We will establish training bases for reserve personnel in universities, middle schools and primary schools, and put in place a "through-train" system of echelon transport. The coach should construct the training system, improve the professional quality, adjust the team structure reasonably, distribute and proportion the high-quality coach resources scientifically. We should improve the grading system for referees, increase efforts to train high-level referees, establish a sound promotion and demotion system, strengthen the training of female referees and improve their status in international competitions.
