The continuity is one of the characteristics of cultivate talents, the quantity andquality of reserve talents directly restricts senior talent’s quantity and quality.Basketball is one of the three most popular ball games, it has deep mass base in China,not only Yantai has a strong basketball atmosphere, but also the basketball course isrequired course in primary schools and senior schools. This paper aims at finding outthe existing problems and putting forward feasible suggestions on the problemsthrough the investigation of the cultivation situation of basketball reserve talents inYantai’s high school, and strive to create a new mode of education system ofbasketball reserve talents in theory, providing some realistic and theory basis for thesustainable development and diversification basketball cultivate methods thatconstructing people oriented and combining training and teaching.This article use the document research, questionnaire method and mathematicalstatistics method to investigate present cultivation situation of Yantai "CampusTraining Network" basketball reserve talents deeply which belong to educationsystem,which started with Yantai high school basketball coach qualifications, age,professional title, scientific research ability and the athlete selection, cultivate mode,results of the competitions and transporting manner. Through the survey found thereare the following problems at the present stage in Yantai high school basketball reservepersonnel training mechanism:1.School management system is not perfect, schools are generally not set upspecial management department, the degree of attention to the basketball training is notenough, the training funds are not implemented that couldn’t meet the trainingdemands.2.Most coaches in Yantai middle school are graduate from university, lacking ofcontinue education opportunity and school can not provide enough study and trainingopportunities, the overall scientific research level of the coaches is low. Influenced bycoaching and competition experience, coaches have not masters the systemic scientifictraining methods, training plans are not perfectly enough, the phenomenon that trainingfor the match is exists in most schools. 3.The selection of reserve basketball talents in Yantai each middle school are lack ofsystematic and scientific, most schools take the coaches’s experiences and student’s bodyshape as the main reference, the considerations are not comprehensive enough.4.Outdoor basketball facilities of Yantai high school can basically meet the needs,but lack of indoor venues, and the utilize of indoor venues is not enough which leadingto lower utilization.5.The Yantai middle school basketball training mainly inherited the traditionaltraining mode, lacking of innovation and can not utilize educational resources fully.6.The arrangement of learning and training is not reasonable enough, there stillexists a contradiction.7.Basketball reserve talents of Yantai middle school have not enough opportunityto participate games, leading to lower game quality and the training effects difficult tobe tested.This paper mainly aims at the above problems putting forward suggestions whichare from improving the training mechanism, rich selection approach, improve the levelof scientific training and the teaching abilities and scientific research ability of thecoaches to other aspects, so that we can provide useful references to Yantai and otherprovinces and cities to develop better basketball reserve personnel training. Maincountermeasures:1.Establish and perfect Yantai middle school basketball management system,practice the combination of teaching and training fundamentally, transfer thecultivation of basketball reserve personnel task to the education system, cultivateall-round develop and high-quality talent reserve, maintain the overall development ofcultural achievements and basketball training.2.Establishing the coach training mechanism, training mainly according to thetraining plan, content, methods and the settings, psychological training methods, richtheory and knowledge reserves of coaches and improving the service level andscientific research ability of coaches.3.Establish the selection and evaluation system, record players information,establish the special material department and selection standard, monitoring players’sindicators, perfect the selection structure. 4.Improve the social concern degree of the basketball reserve personnel, broadenthe approaches of raising training funding, improve the school’s training facilities,equipped with professional fitness facilities, according to the actual situation of schoolto strengthen medical supervision.5.Continue to promote the popularity of basketball in primary and secondaryschools, found talented basketball players, to lay the foundation for future selection.6.Teachers and coaches should proper arrangements for culture teaching and sportstraining work reasonably based on the actual situation of the school, not only payattention to improve the sports abilities, but also should pay attention to other abilitieswhich the cultural knowledge level is the main aspects, reduce the "learning and trainingcontradiction".7.Strengthen the attention of cultivation of basketball reserve talents of the districtgovernment, perfect Yantai high school basketball competition system, increase thequantity of the game, improving the quality of competitions, selection of outstandingathletes through the competition.
