Twenty-first century is a time for the resources of information, every day people will receive lots of complex information,"information pollution" has become a serious public hazard. If students can learn to treat all the information with critical eyes, thus make right selection and evaluation, it will help students to develop perfect personality and to set up correct life values and good moral character such as independence, integrity, respect for others and so on. A country want to sustainable development must have the innovative talents. Innovation begins with the question, depends on the problem too, so we need people look at the things around us, discover problem, and solve the problem with critical eyes.This paper mainly studies two aspects of contents:based on the investigation on the current situation of senior high school students’ mathematics critical thinking, this paper first analyzes the definition, characteristics and significance of mathematics critical thinking, and describes the reasons for senior high school students lack of mathematics critical thinking. Then according to the experience of teaching practice, from the seven dimensions of critical thinking, this paper gives the feasible suggestion about training students’ critical thinking. The main points are as follows:1. According to the related literature for the research on critical thinking, the paper first describes the background and research of the problem, explains the importance of cultivating students’ critical thinking in mathematics teaching in high school. Then this paper introduces the research status of critical thinking at home and abroad and its main research contents and research methods.2. Based on the definition of the relevant critical thinking, this paper gives the definition of mathematics critical thinking and the essence, characteristics and value of critical thinking.3. By the investigation and the results of the questionnaire statistics, from the seven dimensions of critical thinking:seeking truth degree, degree of openness, ideological analysis, systematic, degree of self-confidence, curiosity and maturity of mathematics critical thinking, this paper shows the current situation for the mathematics critical thinking of senior high school students, and analyzes the reasons that leads to the deficiencies of mathematics critical thinking of high school student.4. Using the methods of criticism and inheritance, this paper summarizes the effective path to train foreign students’ critical thinking. Based on the present situation of our country lack of research on critical thinking and the successful experience of foreign countries, and combined with the actual teaching situation in our country, this paper then puts forward the effective and feasible methods suitable to china’s national conditions in cultivating the students’ critical thinking, and points out the direction for cultivating students critical thinking in mathematics teaching in high school.5. On the basis of the successful experience of the foreign countries and our teaching experience and the cases of classroom teaching of mathematics, this paper proposes a scientific evaluation method to improve the defects of current education sys-tem, and then analyzes and introduces a effective way to cultivate students’ critical thinking from seven dimensions of critical thinking, respectively.
