Since the70s, cancer incidence and mortality has been on the rise in our country,the incidence of cancer in developing countries is low, but it is worth noting that50%of the patients were found in late.Although there are more and more cancer patients,they and their families remain marginalized position, and their problems and needs tocall for more social support and attention.At the same time, there are more and moresocial workers began to join services to cancer patients, however, because of thesocial ideas on the degree of negative labels cancer patients is more serious, socialwork research for cancer patients is still mainly adopt "problem perspective".Forcancer patients,"the problem perspective" to strengthen the fears, and leads toproduction of a variety of negative emotions and negative action.Instead, how todiscover cancer patients to improve its art research is very little, clinical and practicalapplication research progress relative to other areas, more slowly, more from themedical point of view rather than the perspective of social work.As a kind of postmodern narrative therapy method, its goal is to help directoraroused from a questionable lifestyle, and liberated from the external restrictions,rewrite with dignity, story, reflecting the ability and wisdom.For cancer patients, thetreatment can help its meaning and hope to see through the darkness, and integrate hislife experience and individual value, so as to improve patients self negativeunderstanding of disease, construct the positive meaning of life, enhance personal artforce cancer patients.In this paper, a social worker for a terminal cancer patients, on the basis of thepractice of narrative therapy intervention using case study research method for cancerpatients, aims to explore the social workers use of narrative therapy service strategy toimprove art of cancer patients.Research found that the Angle of view by focusing onthe advantages of the service object is socially constructed out of problems in thepersonal experience, and through externalization, problems of deconstruction, find theexception help director realized the unreasonable negative impact brought by the social concept.Directorwith his family in this process has been effectively solve all the problems, and beganto try to experience the meaning behind it, make it has improved self-efficacy and artforce, stronger and more active in the face of the disease.In the process of research,the author formed in order to enhance patients with adanced cancer art as theobjective framework of narrative therapy, mainly includes the following sixparts:1.The initial contact, to establish a professional relationship.2.Listen to thestory,and understanding of personal experience.3.Exploring advantages, improve theself-efficacy.4. Find problem narrative, externalizing and deconstruction.5.Integratingnarrative, meaning and interpretation.6.Internalization narrative in real life.In the end,through to the director of art force measurements,we found that the director of artstrength improved significantly.So we can conclude that using narrative therapy candevelop the resilience of advanced cancers.
