The Rationality Analysis Of Spatial Distribution Of Population In Handan City

Spatial distribution of population, within a certain period of time refers to thepopulation in a given area of the spatial distribution[1]. It is a manifestation of thedemographic processes in space. Rational population distribution is a state thatpopulation distribution presented. Study on population distribution was designed toachieve a reasonable distribution of the population, that is, the relationship betweenpopulation, resources, environment and economy is in a reasonable state ofequilibrium to achieve consistent and effective. In2014Handan city which has atotal resident population of10015370people from the sixth census, accounting forabout13.56%of the province’s total population, is the third most populous city inHebei Province. In the north and south, the people present demographic balance,while, in the east, the people are more than that in the west. It is the result of manyfactors, such as social economic development, natural geography, and local publicpolicies. This paper analyzes and summarizes the current characteristics anddynamic characteristics of population space distribution in Handan, and explores theinfluence factors and rationality, which can help to grasp population spatialdistribution pattern and develop a reasonable population policy in Handan. By thisway, the paper provides a theoretical basis for achieving reasonable populationredistribution in Handan, which can ultimately coordinate population distributionand regional economic sustainable development in Handan.In this paper, on the basis of2010-2014demographic data of Handan city,according to population geography, demographic, population economics and otherrelated theories, Taking Handan city as a starting point, on the basis of whollygrasping the population condition, with population density distributions, the paper analyzes population distribution pattern and the population movements of Handancity and its various counties from two aspects of time sequence and spatialdivergence. Using SPSS software, the paper analyzes the selected indicators ofsocio-economic factors, and concluded that the main factors affecting populationdistribution of Handan city, moreover, the rationality of spatial distribution ofpopulation is discussed. Finally, the paper presents some problems of spatialdistribution of population in Handan city, and gives reasonable proposed measures.
