| Since China joined the WTO in 2001,it has deeply participated in economic globalization, indicating that the reform and opening-up have entered a new stage. However, unbalanced regional development is China’s basic national condition. The reform of the household registration system, industrialization strategy, industrial policy adjustment, marketization, and globalization has promoted the rapid development of China’s economy.Balanced.Based on a literature review on population distribution at home and abroad, this paper uses 2000,2010,and 2020 census data and the census bulletin data.First of all, this paper studies the population size and density from 2000 to 2020 and studies the spatial distribution and temporal changes. The study of the absolute and relative changes in population size and the relative changes in population density summarizes the changes in population distribution and time and space.Law of evolution. The pattern of China’s population spatial distribution is undergoing a transition from "from west to east" to "from north to south." Second, this paper examines changes in population centers of gravity. The study found that the population center of gravity was in Zhumadian City,Henan Province, from 2000 to 2010,and moved to Xinyang City,Henan Province, from 2010 to 2020.The differential effect caused by the development of the North and the South in the past 10 years has been greatly strengthened.Thirdly, this paper explores the factors that affect China’s interprovincial population distribution.Collected and sorted out 3 categories and 22 influencing factors.First, the province is divided into three major economic zones.A single factor correlation analysis is carried out to explore the factors affecting the population density of the three major economic zones in the east, middle, and west in2000,2010,and 2020.Then use stepwise regression to establish multiple linear regression models respectively. Finally, this paper summarizes the research conclusions and prospects of China’s inter-provincial population distribution and influencing factors. |
