Student is the key to influence the success of education. The author holds that respect, understanding, appreciation and encouragement are effective to improve the efficiency of education, as well as solve problems of [secondary vocational students], improve their enthusiasm and dig their potentials. However, inspired from a decade of secondary vocational education career, the author found that the status of primary and secondary education is unsatisfactory:as the economy developed,"exam-oriented education" got intensified. Moreover, teachers who insist on "appreciation-oriented education" couldn’t be recognized among teachers and schools. In the traditional education mode, school not only ignores the meaning of "quality education", which emphasizes on all students’ full-scale development, but also ignores the humanism, and innovation. As a result, students who cannot acquire teachers’attention were dispelled into [secondary vocational school] under study pressure, leading to the lack of confidence and the loss of goals in both learning and life."Appreciation-oriented education" works in a different way as it focuses on caring about the nature of life, respect, understanding and attention to individual differences among students. By exploiting students’ potential with encouragement, it arouses students’confidence, stimulates their learning motivation and perfects personality."Appreciation-oriented education" arises from the development of modern education. Compared with the traditional one and its training pattern,"appreciation-oriented education" accords more with the human nature. The author attempts to discuss and promote the concept and implementation of "appreciation-oriented education" in teaching practice, which aims to improve teachers’ability and restore [secondary vocational students’] confidence, as well as to be useful to the whole society.The author implements the literature research, questionnaire investigation and interview in this article, which composed by the following sections:1. The introduction and significance of the topic:the present situation of "appreciation-oriented education", relevant theory, research methods and innovating points, etc;2. The nature, characteristics and function of "appreciation-oriented education";3. The problem of implementation of "appreciation-oriented education" in [secondary vocational schools] and reasons;4. The introduction of strategies about enhancing "appreciation-oriented education" in secondary vocational schools;5. Illustrating the importance of implementation of "appreciation-oriented education" in secondary vocational schools through Case analysis;...
