In China nowadays, curriculums in Secondary Vocational Schools (SVS) get into embarrassed situation. On the one hand, teachers feel difficult in teaching ,and students feel difficult in learning. On the other hand, enterprises feel that students haven't grasped enough knowledge needed by work. The phenomena have great influence on the promotion of education quality in SVSs. Therefore, curriculum reform in SVSs is imperative under situation. Seen from theoretical angle, in vocational education system, systematic, theory-layered studies on curriculums in SVSs are weaker. Although there exist abroad many curriculum modes of vocational education, such as "Dual System" mode in Germany, CBE mode, Action-oriented mode, there hardly exist systematic and deeper studies. The situations limit not only the development of secondary vocational education system but also the development of curriculum practice in secondary vocational education.To establish a complete and perfect theoretical structure of curriculum in secondary vocational education, we must seek the logical core of curriculum theory of secondary vocational education. The logical cores of secondary vocational education curriculums are various. The mainstream is "theories" now. But the present study believes that this core should be working practice. We should gain the curriculum structure from work structure not from course structure.The experimental subject is Shenfei Technical School. Aiming to gain curriculum structure from work structure and rebuild secondary vocational education curriculum system from working practice, the author definite the new curriculums of secondary vocational education as "practice-oriented" curriculum. Basing on the logical core of working practice, viewing from angles of knowledge theory, psychology and pedagogics, adopting methods of literature review, survey and experiment, the author has undertaken a deep study on the curriculum issue of secondary vocational education to seek a logical theory structure of secondary vocational education.The study divides the development of practice-oriented curriculum into 6 steps: the exploitation about object classification, structure, content, organization and realization of practice-oriented secondary vocational education curriculum.It gives the detail statements of these 6 steps from the angle of "practice" so that merge the practice deeply into secondary vocational education curriculum system.The probe undertaken in the study can not only enriches the theoretical system of secondary vocational education curriculum but also can directs curriculum reforms directly in SVSs.
