Objective: To investigate the relationships between the gross motor development and theself-esteem of children (aged7and8) in Grade Two. Children’s earliest development of grossmotor skills is the development of gross motor development may induce and promote thedevelopment of the child psychology. Therefore, it requires the child to master the basicmovements, and exercises a large number of children by mastering basic movements, you canlearn to master the daily life and the game required relatively simple motor skills, learn andpractice these skills for a better future engaged in various sporting activities and competitionsfoundation.However, the development of large muscle movement is not only an important aspect ofindividual development, from a functionalist perspective; the more important is the individualpsychological development in other areas has important links. Based on previous studies, infantsto adolescence, many cognitive structures and processes are evolving; changes in cognitivedevelopment have a significant impact on the ability to complete individual learning and motorskills. Depth analysis of the relationships between children and psychological action will findclosely related to children’s cognitive development and operation of the children’s emotional andphysical development. In this study, the relationship between the child’s gross motordevelopment and self-esteem of departure to explore the good gross motor development ofchildren, their self-esteem is relatively good, whether the two mutual promotion anddevelopment in the process of development, with a view to second grade provide data andscientific evidence related to the development of children.Methods: In Jinan Huiwen Experimental School, three classes which consist total of150students,75boys and75girls, with an average age of7.29±0.7years old, According to thelarge muscle movement development test (TGMD-2), which includes "displacement action test"and "test object control actions", the level of large muscle development of150children aged7and8was scored. The "self-esteem level of children aged3-9assessment questionnaire forteachers" is to evaluate the level of development of children’s self-esteem, which consists ofthree dimensions: the important sense, the appearance of sense and self-efficacy and constituted by22topics.The results:(1)Overall,150children’s gross motor development level was positively related withchildren’s self-esteem. The better motor development of children has, the higher the level ofself-esteem is.(2)The relation level of development of operational action of large muscle movements inmale children is lower than the relation level of horizontal displacement motor development ofself-esteem.(3) The relation level of large muscle movements of female children in the level ofoperability motor development and self-esteem is higher than the relation level between thedevelopment level and self-esteem movement displacement.(4)Children of different genders in the level of development of large muscle movementtest shows that the level of gross motor development in male children is better than the actionlevel of operability motor development in female children.(5) Different genders shows no significant differences in the three dimensions ofself-esteem test results, but their average score descriptive analysis shows that children’sself-esteem of girls was higher than that of boys’. |
