Study On The Occupation Education During The Early Period Of The Republic Of China Of Shanxi (From1911to1937)

The early Republican period saw the vital transition of Shanxiprovince from tradition to modernity in all aspects. During this period,the vocational development of Shanxi achieved some progress in arelatively stable social environment. This paper mainly discusses thedevelopment of Shanxi’s vocational education and its influence from1911to1937. In light of the fact that our country is paying moreattention to the building of this cause, the successful examples ofthat period in this paper will undoubtedly be a reference for us today.The paper can divide into eight chapters.The introduction part of the article gives an account of thepurpose as well as the significance, academic trends, researchmethods, the innovation and the shortage and so on about this article.It also introduces about some of the relevant opinions of theconcepts of the vocational education and my understanding ofvocational education. The first chapter mainly expounds the originand development of the vocational education in Shanxi and reviewthe beginning of the vocational education of Shanxi within the lateperiod of Qing dynasty. The second part relates the development ofthe reform in the vocational schools of Shanxi Province during theearly period of the Republic of China. The third chapter introduces from the elementary education to the high vocational education aswell as the remediation of the vocational education of ShanxiProvince during the early period of the Republic of China. All levels ofeducation are divided into three small classes including agriculture,industry and commerce, which are control-ed by the governmentalvocational education. The fourth chapter discusses the state of thedevelopment on private vocational schools of Shanxi Province duringthe early period of the Republic of China. The fifth chapter relates thedevelopment of running vocational schools of Shanxi Province duringthe early period of the Republic of China from the whole. Chapter sixsummarizes the characteristics of the vocational education in ShanXi. Chapter7analyzes the influence of the early vocational educationduring the early period of the Republic of China from three aspects.The conclusion part is a summary of the article. It thinks that theearly vocational education of Shanxi gets the certain developmentand trains a lot of professional talents for Shanxi Province which playa significant role in the social and economic development in Shanxiand be able to provide the certain reference for the construction ofthe vocational education in China.
