As a traditional Chinese virtue, honesty is not only the basiccomponent of civic moral education, but also an important part ofthe ideological and political education. With the progress of thetimes and society, honesty with a new connotation plays a moreimportant role in the socialist values system. However, our countryis in a transition period, the effects brought by spontaneity andopenness of market economy caused an influx of WesternMulticultural thoughts. Currently, college education system inChina still exist disadvantages. Problems like poor educationalresults coupled with psychological instability of college students,incompleteness of knowledge and unreasonable alternate-generation education leading to the presence of knowledgeeducation disjoints belief education and recognition of the valuecontradicts reality. This requires that the ideological and politicaleducation workers actively expand the educational method of goodfaith value views, research into theoretical study, transformeducational ideas and realize combination of "moral integrity" and"legal integrity". In addition, educational environment also shouldbe optimized for nurturing a good atmosphere. Only in this way can the universities provide a strong guarantee for fostering students’good faith value views.
