| With the development of modern science and technology, the Internet has covered every aspect of our life, meanwhile, the network terminals aren’t merely limited to the computers and newly-invented network terminals and carriers are constantly emerging. The popularity of smart phone,because of the functions of real-time, network, facilitation, has promoted the development of self-media, which makes the theory of "the Personal is the media" fully realized. Weibo and other emerging network publ ic opinion platform is changing people’s media habits and channels of information dissemination; the changing pattern of information dissemination makes the information spread at a higher speed, meanwhile, students can be personally involved get interactive fun from it. At the same time, because of immaturity of college students in physical and mental development, the particularity of weibo disseminating information, and the imperfect of the current network environments, when weibo is promoting the students’ convenience and access to obtain knowledge and information, it also gives a negative influence on the thought behavior and physical and mental development, which brings great challenge to the ideological and political education and management in the school. Therefore, to explore the media age weibo’s influence on college students’ behavior, to solve its new situations, new problems, and to construct the new system of the new era of ideological and political education work will have a great practical significance to the healthy development of students’ body and mind, construction of a harmonious campus, the development of social stability.This study is to explore the research on current situation of college students using weibo and its influence on college students’ behavior, find and solve the existing problems and hidden danger. The research focuses on the guidance of college students’ healthy using Weibo correctly, feasible measures to explore the ideological and political education work in the new period. At the same time, because of the fast, novel and contemporary development of weibo, there is no mature experience and research on such problems, which leads to certain difficulties, therefore, this also is the difficulty for this study. Through the investigation, questionnaires, statisticalsorting, this study will combine the present situation of college students’ using Weibog, find the hidden problems, deeply explore its causes, and accordingly put forward some solutions and provide effective countermeasures for college students’ ideological and political education.Organization of the thesis: this thesis consists of five chapters, the first chapter is the introduction: introduces the background and significance of this research, domestic and foreign research present situation, research content and method. The secondchapter: Weibo’s historical development, meaning and characteristics and types, describes the concept of Weibo and the development domestically and abroad, the main characteristics were discussed. The third chapter: Weibog influence on University Students’ thoughts and behaviors, this paper discussed the positive and negative effects of Weibog on College Students’ ideology and behavior, and provide a theoretical basis for the later research. In the fourth chapter, it analyzed the status, problems and factors for college students to participate, and the presence of Weibo. Through questionnaires and interviews with a combination of individual user makes investigation on college students participation in Weibo’s condition, carries on the analysis in view of the existing problems and the influencing factors. Finally: put forward the countermeasures of health guide students to participate in Weibog, respectively from the purification of the environment, promote the main melody, firmly grasp the right to speak, to strengthen the ideological education, guide students to correctly understand the school, family, society and all-round cooperation.
