Under the background of the new curriculum,the new curriculum reform of Geography in middle school with new ideas to challenge the traditional geography curriculum and teaching, middle school geography teachers in the implementation of the new curriculum, new curriculum construction is the decisive factor, is facing severe challenges. Middle school geography teachers’ professional development is not only the necessary condition of the implementation of the new curriculum, but also the requirements of their own development, teaching reflection is the effective methods and ways to promote teachers’ professional development, and plays an important role in the middle school geography teachers’ professional development.In this paper the first middle school geography teachers as the research object,through the questionnaire survey method, interview method and observation method,to the middle school geography teachers teaching reflection actualities of launched the investigation, analyzes six aspects of reflection on teaching knowledge, behavior, time,content, methods and angles, summed up the characteristics and teaching reflection middle school geography teachers’ teaching reflection of problems and deficiencies,and from two aspects of individual teachers and school environment on the influence factors of middle school geography teaching reflection is studied. On this basis,according to the analysis of the influence of middle school geography teachers’ teaching reflection factors, combining the author’s own teaching practice experience and field observations and interviews of high school geography teachers’ teaching reflection, to explore methods to promote the high school geography teachers’ professional development and reflective teaching strategies from two aspects of individual teachers and the external environment, and combined with the actual case of the reflection on teaching strategies in the teaching effect was further researched.
