Study On The Ecological Moral Education In Universities

Environmental problem has become a prominent problem of human survival and development.The solution of the environmental problems and the establishment of ecological civilization concept need mandatory rules of law and system, and need more people’s ethical consciousness from the hearts consciously. The 18 th National Congress report highlights the construction of ecological civilization, and places higher demands on the national ecological consciousness and the concept of ecological ethics. College student is a representative social group with considerable influence, which has decisive impact on social production and the way of life in the future. But nowadays the contemporary college students’ ecological moral value is getting lost because of lack of humanity and critique attitude to ecological problems. Ecological ethics is an important part of college students’ moral accomplishment. To put Ecological ethics in higher education is a new concept of moral education in the era of ecological crisis, which has the distinct characteristics of The Times.Ideological and political theory course and daily ideological and political education is the main channel of moral education in colleges and universities. They share complementary advantages each other, which constitute a system of moral education in higher education institution.But influenced by the traditional moral education blind area, the contents, organization and the teaching logic of moral education are limited in how to deal with the relationship between man and society, and the relationship among human beings. Under the background of the era of ecological crisis, blending the ethical relationship between human and nature in the moral education of colleges and universities, is the new task bestowed by the times. The ecological moral education is a complicated issue including both theory and practice. This essay firstly came up with some concepts related to ecological moral education, then explained those concepts about ecological ethics and ecological moral education. After that, this paper analyzed and elaborated the goal and the principle of ecological moral education, and lastly summarized the ideological and practical guidance based on ecological moral education; In addition,based on the questionnaire survey and interviews to college students from three universities in Hainan province, the paper analyst the problems and their reasons of ecological moral education existed in colleges and universities from the aspects of students and school, and finally put forward some policy recommendations: First of all, to know why colleges and universities need ecological moral education, what to teach,and how to teach it in colleges and universities; secondly, to build and improve the teaching system and daily ideological and political education system, to guarantee the beneficial exploration of ecological moral education, and establish the sound protection mechanism for the ecological moral education.
