Chinese is a comprehensive and practical course of learning language use. "The unity of instrumentality and humanity is the basic characteristics of Chinese". The reform of basic education curriculum requires teachers highlighting its instrumentality and humanity. However, the actual performance of Chinese teaching is not so good. Giving priority to instrumentality is one of the most important reasons influencing the realization of Chinese humanity. Therefore, in the process of new curriculum reform, it is necessary for us to do a further investigation and research of Chinese teaching and to promote the intensive development of Chinese teachng reform.In view of this viewpoint, the elementary school Chinese teaching is selected as the research object in this thesis. The real teaching scene is also one part of the teaching objects. The author uses a combination of research methods including literature review of the previous researches and case analysis and wants do a thorough research of the lack of humanity in Chinese teaching in primary schools and reorganizes the humanity in Chinese teaching. On the one hand, the author analyzes the present situation and the reasons of the lack of humanity of Chinese teaching in primary school from a theoretical point of view; on the other hand, from the perspective of practice, the author discusses the problem that how teachers of Chinese teaching in primary school implement humanity in his/her class and tries to provide some suggestions on how to remold the humanity teaching in primary school.This paper is divided into the following five chapters: the first chapter is introduction, which mainly includes the research origin and current status of this subject. The second chapter discusses the necessity of the humanity in primary Chinese teaching. This first part distinguishes the definitions between humanity and the humanity of primary Chinese teaching. From two aspects, that are the standard requirements of Chinese and the students’ own developmental requirements, the author discusses the necessity of including humanity in primary Chinese teaching, which are the theoretical foundation of this paper and the premise of further extending the second chapter.The third chapter is the present situation and reasons of the humanity loss in Chinese teaching in primary school. As for the concrete situation of the lack of humanity in the Chinese teaching in primary schools, the author wants to analyze it from a) the highlighting the instrumentality while lacking the humanity element in teaching process; b) the improvement of the humanity of teachers. For lack of humanity in Chinese teaching in primary schools, the author discusses it thoroughly from the unilateral utilitarian of language education and the causes of the teachers, so the author has made an in-depth analysis in this chapter.The fourth chapter is the reshaping of the humanity of Chinese teaching in primary school. This chapter is the key part of this thesis. The author expounds it mainly from the two aspects, that are teachers and students and the author finds that the teacher is the key to the fulfillment of humanity in Chinese teaching, and students are the essences of humanity implementation in Chinese teaching. According to the problems appearing in the teaching process, the author proposes the corresponding strategies, thus to achieve the reshaping of humanity of Chinese teaching in primary school.The fifth chapter is conclusion. Chinese teachers of primary schools must improve their own humanity quality in the teaching process to implement humanity teaching of primary school Chinese teachers also need to strengthen their humanity basis in the process of teaching and provide a basis for constructing the students’ good humanity quality. In order to make humanity have a sound implementation, pupils themselves are supposed to make their own effort and to learn how to improve their own humanities accomplishment. It is only from this that the pupils can internalize the humanity elements of Chinese teaching. The pupils will know how to control themselves in future and will be a healthy person; therefore we can achieve the goal of humanity teaching.
