In the"reform of the new curriculum", the humanity of high school Chinese course has arisen the interest of linguists, Chinese educationists and Chinese teachers and so on and it has always been one of the focal point in curriculum studies and the cognition to it determines the direction and quality of the instruction in the Chinese course. What's more, classical poetry and literature has profound humanity connotation as the main carrier of the Chinese culture; the significance of the teaching of classical poetry and literature is far-reaching, and the studying of the elegant, pure language enables the students to carry on the humanity tradition of the Chinese nation. Hence, the teaching of classical poetry and literature with its rich humanistic feature becomes one of the major carriers of the humanity of the Chinese course. With the investigation and analysis of the current situation of domestic high school instruction in classical poetry and literature, to which a great deal of reflection has been given. Guided by the new curriculum, combined with my twenty-year experience in teaching high school Chinese courses, the significance and strategies of the realization of humanity instruction in classical poetry and literature are discussed from the dimensions of theory and practice through observation, questionnaire survey and other research methods. The discussion of the value and universal law of the humanity in the instruction in classical poetry and literature is theoretically based on the cognition of Post-Modern Perspective on Curriculum, the constructivist's view of learning and theories of reception-aesthetic; in practice, the strategies of the realization of humanity in the instruction in classical poetry and literature are discussed in the aspects of curriculum, teaching and learning.My teaching strategies are based on the multi-view interpretation of the humanity of classical poetry and literature courses, the humanistic qualities of the teachers in the instruction of classical poetry and literature, the realization of humanity in classroom guidance and after-instruction reflection as well as the learners'emotion, way of thinking and learning in order to cultivate the learners'love of the Chinese nation's fine traditional culture, the passion of nature, life and art, and to form independent personality and elegant aesthetic awareness.
