In the end of last century,the academia and first-line teachers ended with the huge discuss ion which is about the orientation of Chinese curriculum. After that,humanity as the basic natu re of Chinese curriculum has been generally recognized.Meanwhile,the standpoint was writte n in standard of Chinese curriculum.New understanding of the nature of Chinese curriculum made the reform in full wings. In particular, high school Chinese teachers and students who have been in the pressure of “examination-oriental education” are looking forward that humanity in new standard of high school will guide the high school Chinese teaching out of the morass of the simple examination.But what is the humanity idea which should be run through in high school Chinese teaching? What is missing in terms of implementing the humanity idea in high school Chinese teaching? These are problems in high school Chinese teaching what we are facing. They just get rid of the shackles of a long-term oriented education so don’t have well understanding of new ideas. It is undeniable that they are feeling the pains of transition although they constantly fumbling. As these circumstances, it also arouse the writer’s interest and thinking to the methods of running through humanity idea in high school Chinese teaching.Based on the analysis of Chinese teaching examples in high school and combined with the extensive literature theory study, the paper has five parts. The first part is introduction,and it is the summary of the relevant research achievement. The second part defines the concept of humanity idea in high school Chinese teaching and describes the necessity of its penetration in high school Chinese teaching. From the teaching links, the third part analyzes the current situation of the missing of humanity idea in high school Chinese teaching which studied the set of teaching objectives, the selection of teaching content, methods and means of teaching, the evaluation of teaching as four aspects. The fourth part and fifth parts find the theory basis of humanity idea which should be run through. As well as, based on the problems in fact and the experience of other countries’ teaching reform, it provides countermeasures which suit for our country’s situation.According the demands of new curriculum standards in high school, the study explores how to run through humanity idea in high school Chinese teaching with my own thinking.The writer try his best to think big but start small,expect to be able to provides some inspiratio n for the relevant high school teachers and researchers.
