The game has become a new carrier of artistic expression. Chinese independent research and development of traditional has the responsibility to spread traditional culture. Today the Europe and the United States, Japan and South Korea game outputting their culture increasingly, Chinese game should also output our own soft power. We should combine pure Chinese spirit and the art of game, making public absorb the nutrients of our culture and the aesthetic experience when they play Chinese game. At present, some traditional game inherit Chinese artistic characteristics but it haven’t completely get rid of the Visual sense of foreign game.From the visual representation of the game, this article explores the design style of game figure and the integration of traditional art, with the Figure Sculpture of Mogao grottoes in Tang Dynasty as an example.Mogao Grottoes is a treasure house of Chinese traditional art. The sculptures of Tang Dynasty are classic traditional figure statues. There is great significance to game figure design to go out of their own game artistic path. Using the ancient things to enlight the present, this paper will briefly compare the development and Current situation of the Chinese traditional game figure between home and abroad. Analysis the design style of the current Chinese traditional game figure and put forward the existing problems and explain its reason. The style of Chinese Game figures can draw lessons from a lot of Chinese traditional art, this article only using the Figure Sculpture of Mogao grottoes in Tang Dynasty as an example.Combining the game case from the character modeling, clothing design elements and the color using this three aspects to discuss.
