| Belief is a concentrated reflection of people’s world outlook, philosophy andviewpoint of value of course, which dominates the human spiritual life and social life.Itis the important driving force for the development of the times.College students are themain force in the construction China characteristic of Harmonious Society of socialism,who are the socialist builders and successors. Their faiths and value orientations willdirectly affect the Chinese socialism. All kinds of Western ideas poured into our countrywith developing of socialist market economy and the great social changes of thedevelopment of new scientific and technological revolution, which impact on people’sbeliefs.College Students’ ability to detect belief is still relatively weak, the formationand development of their beliefs are strongly influenced. Therefore, dealing with thechanges of the times and challenges and guiding students to establish the correct beliefare not only affecting the overall development of college students, but also relating tothe future of our country.This paper, based on the connotation of general beliefs, features and functionsdescribing, conducted the survey of college students’ belief to three colleges in theShanxi Province (Shanxi University, Shanxi University of Finance and EconomicsUniversity, Taiyuan Technology University) and three schools (Shanxi Commerce andIndustry College, Shanxi integrated Vocational and Technical College,ShanxiArchitectural Technology College).The paper has learned the present situation andproblems of College Students’ belief. And it puts forward some measures for solving theproblem of College Students’ beliefs from the cause analysis of the students themselves,the influence of the family, college education and social effect. First, the collegestudents should improve their own quality, establish the correct “three views†and clearthe own and social significance of the belief. Second, we should pay attention to theinfluences of family on students’ belief formation. Third, the colleges should vigorouslystrengthen the faith education of college students, especially the Marxist theoryeducation which will put forward the dominant position of Marxism. Fourth, it’snecessary to build a harmonious social environment and to establish Marx’s scientificbelief. The paper hopes people understand the Marxist faith belief deep andcomprehensivly, especially college students who may recognize the importance of faithin life and actively establish a correct scientific Marxist beliefs. Shanxi universities canpay more attention to the Marxist faith education of college students, remodeling Marxist beliefs’ dominant, which help more students to establish Marxist beliefs. |
