Study On Marxism Belief Of College Students In Henan Province

During the social-transforming period,economics,politics and cultural life have developed rapidly.Marxism belief has faced lots of challenges,in which the so-called "Belief crisis" has become one of the most important issues concerned by the people.As for the state of belief in Marxism of the present university students,there are a lot of new problems such as misunderstanding.There is mere related specifical research for universities in Henan Province.So my research assumed the college students in Henan Province as the research object,adopting literature research and questionnaire survey as the main research method,combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,and studying the Marxist belief condition among college students in Henan Province.On the one hand,searching the theory of belief,Marxist belief and ideological and political education in college,to emphasize that the meaning and significance of strengthening the college students Marxism belief,and the necessity and urgency of improving the ideological and political education system;On the other hand,498 valid questionnaires about the Marxist belief of college students in Henan Province have been collected,which produce basic data for my whole studying.And through the data analysis to figure out the basic situation.Through the analysis I find that belief crisis exists in university,but it is not serious.In addition,I have drawn the following conclusions: no obvious gender differences on Marxism belief degree;The higher the grade,the higher Marxism belief degree,but still needed further research to verify this conclusion;Marxism belief degree is higher among college students majoring in humanities and social science;the Communist Party of China members have the highest level of the Marxism faith,members taking second place;students realized their belief in Marxism have the highest Marxism belief degree,students with no belief have the lowest;college students still is given priority to information acquirement of Marxism in class and the social practice is complementary,but students obtaining information through mass media have the highest Marxism belief degree;the higher the frequency of accessing to information about Marxism,the higher level of the Marxism belief;the vast majority of people have adequate confidence in the development of Marxism.Then according to the theoretical and practical research results,put forward four pieces of advice : to strengthen university autonomy and encourage their aptitude;to encourage full participation and pay attention to basic knowledge;to strengthen frequency and methods of ideological and political education;to combine the functions of the government,the society,the colleges and the individuals together.Finally,summarizing the content of this research and pointing out the deficiencies and defects of this study,and the future possible research directions.
