The Kha Tsuo People of Yunnan have their own lanuage with no characters, the Kha Tsuo language is the the main carrier and communication tool for them. They have developed their special language and culture, the closed social environment was used to be the shelter of their peculiarity. However, as time goes by, they don’t live in a closed environment any longer. Their culture is getting influenced by the nearby nations, and the Kha Tsuo language is not only influenced by the other languages, but its position is also changed in the new social environment.For a nation whose language has no characters, the oral tradition is an important form for the heritage of national culture and language. The characteristics of oral tradition like popularity allows it to reflect the ideas of people directly. The oral tradition of Kha Tsuo language also link to the inherit of the nation’s language and culture. It once played an important role in those people’s lives. There was no better ideas than the oral tradition in the way of carrying the nation’s culture and history.In this essay the oral tradition will be studied by the linguistic anthropology perspective. With the combination of linguistic and anthropology knowledge, the history and culture of Yunnan Mongolia will be studied. The social-cultural relevance study of this special language will help us know more about this nation. Also the way of inheriting this special language will be studied with the hope of giving an example to the related research areas.
