Self-evaluation and reflection are important guarantees for teachers’ professional development. In this paper, the main problems are:(1) let the chemistry teacher evaluate the teaching activities by video analysis;(2) make the chemistry teacher has consciousness in reflecting and develops the ability for reflecting by exploring multiple reflecting-angle;(3) the teacher designs tools for reflecting according to different teaching contents;(4) improve the teacher’s teaching ability by reflecting and correcting.This is a research on reflection-development of the chemistry teacher, the author is the research object; two first year high school classes called A, B of my own are regarded as the implement objects. The mode of this study is "practice firstlyâ†'pinpoint the problemsâ†'reflect and improve basiclyâ†'practice secondly (video)â†'reflect as a whole by video analysisâ†'pinpoint the problemsâ†'reflect focusly by video analysisâ†'improve self-evaluation means and teachingâ†'next action......". The teaching contents are "chemical concept" and "elements and compound" of PEP compulsory1.Through the reflection practice based on video analysis, theauthor achieves obvious effects on professional development:(1)master the skill of video analysis and develop the habit ofself-evaluation;(2) have awareness of reflecting and develop theability of reflecting;(3) be affluent in the angles of reflecting anddesign the tools for reflecting;(4) enhance the teaching designlevel, and improve the teaching implement ability;(5) establish thereflecting models of different contents and develop the professionalquality and ability.On the basis of practice, this study gets the followingconclusions:(1) teaching reflection based on video playback andanalysis has been proved to be very effective in novice teacher’sself-reflection;(2) teaching reflection based on video analysis ishelpful for the chemistry teacher to have reflecting-awareness, andimprove the reflecting-ability;(3) teaching reflection based on videoanalysis can help the chemistey teacher to improve her professionalquality and ability.
