Research On Social Group Work Intervention On Migrant Children’s Internet Addiction

With the advent of the information age, as well as the popularity of computers, mobile phones and other network devices, network basing on its unique advantages quickly penetrate into all aspects of daily life, and brings convenience to people’s lives, study and work. But everything has two sides, the internet also has its positive function and negative influence, people enjoy the convenience of the network, but also suffer from the network, Internet addiction is the cancer. China Children and Teenagers’ Fund study China Children’s Charity needs, through the questionnaire survey, they found that more than1/4of the migrant children are very infatuated with network, video games and Internet addiction in a high proportion of migrant children. Thus, the problem of migrant children’s internet addiction is very badly, strengthen migrant children Internet addiction prevention and intervention is very necessary. In order to solve the problem of migrant children’s internet addiction, this study is based on a migrant children project of Kunming W community L Non-profit organizations, research on the problem of migrant children’s Internet addiction in W community with group work. This study is aimed at helping solve the problems of migrant children internet addiction in W community, reducing internet addiction harm for migrant children, reducing the level of Internet addiction.This study is based on a migrant children project of Kunming W community L Non-profit organizations, and launches intervention and treatment services on the problems of migrant children’s internet addiction in W community. The development process is divided into three parts:needs assessment, act plan and effect evaluation. In the stage of needs assessment, and mainly through the observation, visit community, questionnaire survey method, interview method and other methods obtains level of migrant children Internet addiction and the needs of social work service, and then makes service plans. In the stage of needs assessment, the study finds that phenomenon of the problems of migrant children’s internet addiction in W community is commonly and severity, and the age of internet addiction problems of migrant children becomes younger. So the Internet addiction has brought many problems, like learning problems, deviant behavior and other problems. In view of the present situation and problems of migrant children, the study choose8team members on the basis of the needs assessment, and make a series of group work to recognize and use internet correctly for those members of group by the concept and methods of social work. In the stage of effect evaluation, through analysis of the before and after test data with statistics SPSS software package, the study found that through group work, the levels of internet addition in those group members was reduced. On the basis of the study, which think that launch group work for migrant children, and then guide the cognition and behavior of network for migrant children, can restrain and improve problems of migrant children’s internet addiction.
