Group Work Intervention To The Security Capabilities Of Migrant Children

With the industrialization and urbanization process,migrant children faced with a series of life issues, psychology, and education,but the safety problem is the basis of sustainable urban development. Wuhan community is a traditional old community, about 80% of the resident population flows within the community, the security issue is not only to the community, family, school great impact, but also to their development. Based on previous literature analysis: the type of migrant children injured have burns, falls, traffic accidents and etc. In order to avoid or reduce the impact on migrant children, we should do preventive work.Thought semi-structured interviews to community safety system, migrant families, school safety education, children’s security capabilities were preliminary assessment, the assessment showed that flow around the child’s own support network security needs to be improved within the community. Team work is one of the professional methods of social work, team members learned capacities through group dynamics within the group in the interaction, so use the group work methods for migrant children in the community to carry out substantive research tentative and exploration. Basis on Bandura’s observational learning theory,designed section 8 group service activities, activities relating to transportation, gas, electric shock, fire, swimming and daily security issues and emergency prevention measures.Assessment results showed that: migrant children safety capacity building group activities is to deal with the current outstanding liquidity child safety issues. In the face of simulated incidents, migrant children can better respond correctly. The group has certain feasibility and promotion activities, but the activities should remain persistent safety capacity building activities. You can also try to use future casework methods and community advocate, promote the settlement of migrant children safety issues.
