The Problem Of Korean Female Poverty And Empowerment In Yanbian

After the three decades of China’s opening reform, the process of China’s K orean non-agriculture and urbanization becomes faster and faster. During the past thirty years the Korean female have played a positive leading role in promoting th e development of China’s Korean non-agriculture and urbanization. With the incr easing of urban population and widening gap between rich and poor, governmen t and academic pay much attention to the problem of urban poverty. And povert y has significant gender differences, which appears the phenomenon of feminizatio n of poverty and female poverty and the levels of female poverty yaries by region. In the aspect of defining and understanding the connotation of female poverty, n ot only includes income poverty, but also includes non-income aspects of wome n’s rights, deprivation of opportunities and the lack of welfare. We should define t he female poverty from the height of the ultimate goal of human development; fr om the point of human welfare; from the different dimensions of interaction and constraints of female poverty; from income converted to improving other aspects o f the welfare of women constraints. The purpose of this paper is exploring that gov ernment, community, civil community and pro-poor policies and activities how to in tervene empowerment in Korean female poverty issues and the elimination of Kore an female poverty and family poverty. And we complete this research by investiga ting and understanding the scale of Korean female poverty, the nature and chara cteristics of poverty.This paper adopts literature survey and qualitative research methods, which finds that current researches are quite rich which are related to Chinese women’s po verty and the antipoverty issues. However, there is no specialized field of study whi ch concerns the minority women, especially about the Korean female poverty and also that is the most creative part in my paper. The statistics from local governme nt only distinguishes between urban and rural area and do not distinguish from ge nder, ethnicity, age, which brings some difficulties to the research. But this research adopts more creative methods and perspectives of innovation, which can partially solve the problems mentioned above. Because of the multidimensional of Korean female poverty, there are a lot of things to do for the community and civil comm unity, which can intervene on the Korean women’s empowerment and antipovert y. For these reasons, the author comes up with some suggestions.
