It is a comparative study of mathematics textbooks between China and the United States. The objects of the study are mathematics textbooks people published and the American CORE PLUS MATH textbook. Researchers used textual analysis method, literature method and comparative method to study this question. From the text content to start, drew the conclusion of the study in the list:1.The different emphasis of knowledge, our textbook focus on mathematical theory and the basic MATH study, The united textbooks put stress on the combination of the theory and practice, connection with other subjects of longitudinal and transverse. 2. The proportion of exercises, Chinese textbook exercises subject content is concise, topic quantity is relatively small. The CORE PLUS MATH textbooks title number, title set more flexible, more hair bulk chemical problem solving methods.3. The algebra and function, and space geometry, statistics and probability, and the four major fields of calculus equation, above the four major fields of calculus equation’ proportion is different. The space geometry, statistics and probability textbook in our country’ textbook’ proportion is higher than the American CORE PLUS MATH textbook. In algebra and functions as well as in calculus, compared to our country’ textbook, the CORE PLUS MATH textbooks is much higher. The comparison research to our revelation: 1.Strengthen the cooperation of students to explore learning styles; 2.Mathematics popularization and practical; 3. Pay attention to mathematical culture, consciously cultivate the students’ mathematics culture; 4. The system of class teaching reform and innovation.
