On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Volunteerism

Volunteer spirit, an important public participation spirit that promotes human beings’ development, advances social progress and improves community work, is freewill without payment. It is also a positive attitude of the way people treat the value of life, society,the others and the outlook on life. Volunteer spirit of university students is a moral cultivation and internal spirit with “dedication, kindness,cooperation, progress”. It shows university students’ agreement with volunteer spirit,which is an important way to join in the social live. In China, the students’ volunteer spirit roots in Chinese traditional virtues, the core of volunteer service,and shows the demand of social development in new era, especially as the impetus of developing the activity deeply in future. Therefore, it’s significant to nurse volunteer spirit of university students. The research would advance the effectiveness,pertinence and practicality of training university students’ volunteer spirit.I’ll depict my opinion as follows in five parts:Part One,presents the research status of the progress of cultivating volunteer spiri t of college students and briefly comments on relative research progress,In the end,elaborates the value and methods of nurturing volunteer spirit of college students.Part Two,analyzes the relative concepts like Volunteer,Voluntary Service,Volunte er Group and Volunteer Spirit.Based on this, depicting the basic meaning of the volunt eer spirit of college students.Part Three,introduces the key factors of nurturing volunteer spirit of university s tudents,include cultivation of subject,cultivation of contents,cultivation of carriers and cultivation of environment etc.Part Four, it explains the basic law of university students’ volunteer spirit. It cont ains ordinary law and special law,objective law and subjective law, internal contradict law and external contradict law, law of direct and indirect cognition,developing law of history forward and developing law of open-door to the outside, etc.Part Five, discusses the operation mode of training university students ’volunteer spirit.It talks about standardizing the recruit and register system,strengthening the man aging and training system, setting up and perfecting incentive mechanism,offering the policy and legally system,intensify in the supervision and assessment system,etc.
