Analogical reasoning ability in the human to know the world and transform the world play an inspired ideas, broaden the thinking, explore the conclusion. Now, our country also begin to pay attention to the cultivation of student’s mathematics analogical reasoning ability,but alone Thurber papers, our country on how to develop the students’ ability of analogical reasoning of special research also not many, have put forward the teaching strategy is not very comprehensive, teaching steps is not very detailed. In this paper, from two aspects of theory and practice of how to cultivate students in the teaching of mathematics analogical reasoning ability are studied, some valuable conclusions are drawn, can provide a reference for a glimmer of teachers of mathematics.Using the method of literature search, this paper summarizes the related to this article three analogical reasoning psychology research theory, namely the structure mapping theory and pragmatic schema theory and the theory of cognitive development. Using the method of questionnaire, to panshan county senior high school students and the teacher has carried on the questionnaire survey, reasoning out the present situation of our high school mathematics analogical reasoning ability and teachers’ awareness of training students’ mathematics analogical reasoning ability. In this paper, guided by the three major theories, combined with the results of the investigation, summarizes the cultivating high school students mathematics analogical reasoning ability of teaching strategies and teaching steps.After the above research, this article draw some conclusions: the high school mathematics analogical reasoning ability in general is still relatively low, the lowest from limited to unlimited analogical reasoning ability, from specific to general analogical reasoning ability is good with other analogical reasoning ability. The causes of this phenomenon is that students have not formed the analogical reasoning steps. Teachers to cultivate the students’ mathematics consciousness of analogical reasoning ability is weak, because in our country haven’t have a set of scientific, clear and detailed on the cultivation of high school mathematics teaching steps of analogical reasoning ability and the corresponding teaching material. To solve above problems the author thinks that teachers should take advantage of the similarity of mathematics knowledge structure, the nature of the similarity and the research method of similarity and analogy problem situation and analogy problems presented to develop the students’ ability of analogical reasoning. While training students analogicalreasoning ability, teachers should according to the objective questions, retrieve the source problem, analog counterpart, analogy conclusions, validation, analogical conclusion analogical conclusion the six steps, and acquisition.
