Analogical reasoning is not only the most important way to put forward hypothesis, discover methods and reach conclusions, but also an important tool to discover the truth. In fact, analogical reasoning is the basis for people to produce new ideas and discover new things. According to high school curriculum standard, it attaches great importance to weakening forms and cultivating students' vivid analogy reasoning ability. This paper will investigate the current situation of analogical reasoning ability by questionnaire survey, and extends the simple traditional problem-solving analogical model to various patterns to come up with suggestions on optimizing students' cognition the structure.Based on extensive literature and new curriculum, this thesis defines the concept of analogical reasoning and presents the literature review at home and abroad, which discovers that the emphasis of analogical reasoning research at home and abroad is laid on identifying the analogical reasoning ability of children as middle school problem-solving study.In light of analogical reasoning--- the theory of multiple constraints, the theory of analogy, a questionnaire survey is conducted on the implementation of analogical reasoning ability of senior high school students: Firstly, students' analogical reasoning ability is in average low during senior high school period;Secondly, students can not judge analogical attributes, or apply analogical reasoning to solve life problems;Thirdly, the ability of analogical reasoning is related to the knowledge reserved in mind, the higher the grade, the stronger the ability of analogical reasoning;Fourthly, analogical reasoning ability of science students is significantly stronger than that of arts students analogical reasoning; Fifthly, the watershed between male and female students' analogical reasoning lies in the degree of difficulty of analogical problem;Finally, emotion will also affect the ability of analogical reasoning.In conclusion, taking the senior high school mathematics textbooks of Beijing Normal University as an example, this study conducted from the typical mathematics concept and mathematics teaching cases to deal with how to teach in these two kinds of new teaching and how to carry out three teaching procedures. It demonstrates that cultivating the students' analogical reasoning ability strengthens the link between the old and new knowledge and promotes the development of students' thinking quality and generation ability. Therefore, it improves the ability of students in problem solving.
